Hi! I’m Carly, a music educator and the founder of Steady Beat Music. I hold a bachelor’s and master’s degree in music education and have extensive experience teaching early childhood and elementary music. My teaching is strongly influenced by the Orff Schulwerk approach, emphasizing joyful music-making through singing, movement, speech, instrument exploration, and creative play. I design developmentally appropriate classes that honor each child’s natural musicality while fostering confidence, creativity, and meaningful connection between children and their grown-ups. When I’m not teaching music I’m busy being mom to my six kids! I also enjoy spending time with my husband, baking, reading, Barre3, and being outside.
